Nice pottery and china

I have never seen such a sweet design on tableware. This is from Villeroy&Boch and the design is called Naif Country. I think it will look great in a big cabinet in the kitchen Next special winter china. I love the snowflakes.

This one I fell in love with. It's also from Villeroy&Boch and is called Helianthus. I think if I had to choose between Naif and this one I would go for this one. It's really beautiful.
These are from the Naif Country range again.

Completely different but very stylish called Audun Ferme. Reminds me a bit of the Toile de Youe fabric. Also I love it beïng black and gold.

How do people come up with these kinds of design ideas. So clever to use an old dolls house for storage. Kinda logical but all the more respect for coming up with it. Really really nice.

Then a whole different ballgame in pottery. Burleighware. These I fell in love with. Those colors and the designs. There named for instance Arden Blue, Burgess Blue, Calico Red or Asiatic Blue. This is exactly what is going to be in my kitchen. Way to gorgeous. Wauw.

Christmas Decorating

This is a very nice craft to master. Making wreaths. So beautiful because you can make them according to every season or according to your own taste. I've seen so many beautiful ones. For easter even one with eggshells and lavender! I also like them for their ability to make very tastefull decorating.

Found a recipe to make them. They are said to give such a nice smell and they look lovely in a bowl. Good idea to make different designs.

Things You’ll Need:
Orange
Cloves
Ribbon
Step1 Chose a good thin skinned orange. Any orange will work, but a Florida juice orange has a thin skin and gets the juice soaking into the cloves.
Step2If you want to hang it as an ornament you can attach a one inch wide ribbon. You can hot glue gun it on or pin it making a top to bottom circle. You can do it two directions to make an X and tie a bow at the top.
Step3Poke the cloves into the orange. Poke them deep, up to the bigger top of the spice clove. You can cover the orange completely or make lines and patterns.
Step4 The spicy cloves will absorb the orange juice and give off a great Christmas smell. Leave it as long as you want. The orange will dry out over time. When they were very dry my mom would occasionally boil one to bring the smell through the whole house then discard it when done.
Pincones a a sure way to make somthing breath winter or christmas. Even the front door.
Timeless decorating.
Here a nother wreath to show just how versatile they can be. It can be worth wile to follow a little workshop to learn the finer skills.

Another pine decoating idea. inspiring

Kinda looks like a long wreath . Put it on the table.

Pinecone galore!
This is the way you should decorate the staircase. Notice the folded blankets? They catch my attention anytime and anywhere I go. These are great because they are my old time favortite design "the tartan".

Bathroom ideas to remember

I'm very into the country style, cottage style interior. I have to even make a subpost for every room in my dream house. First up The Bathroom:
Marseille soap looks awsom on it's own, but with the right things turn into a gorgeous still-life.

This bathroom I initially thought was a bit to dark, but looking closely it is very stylish and cosy, just a whole new idea to remember.

This I chose for the colorcombination and the way the little cabinet looks.

One drop-dead-gorgeous cabinet!!! Don't know what else to say about it

Close-up detail of the fawcet (not sure if that's the way to spell it but anyway) I think it's brass.
Looks very vintage and probably really good with some clean limegreen or applegreen towels.

Just a pleasing picture of a nice bathroom.

My Dreamhome

These windows give a house an instant old look. The house we adore so much has just these type of windows. Nice idea to have a heavy looking curtain draped in front of it. Keeps the cold outside.
How lovely. Really great to use aan old birdcage as decoration. Especially with the couch in front of it.
This is so nice to make in the garden. It gives plenty of shade when it's fully grown and at the same time makes it very natural.

I have a soft spot for beautiful bedrooms. This one is not spectacular but gives a warm atmosphere.

This just looks really enviting. A warm summers day, a nice cool drink, a good book or magazine and just being lazy in my own hammock. Nice.

In this very special post I like to prepare to decorate my home. Our absolute dreamhome is for sale and we are so eager to buy it that I can nearly taste it. We just need some minor things to be arranged financially but then.........MOVING TIME!! So all kinds of inspirational things I'll post here. Mainly ideas that will work with that particular house. I choose pictures that look like the interior or have a bit of the same feel to it. This first one displays very nicely how and where I plan to have the master bedroom. The original attic has very nice wooden features, but I really like the yellow. Might even combine nice with wood. Also like the bed very much.

I'll refer to it as my home just to keep myself focussed on my goal. Several of these pictures look a lot like the interior, this one also with the dark beams and stoney fireplace. Real cosy. Here even the windows look like my original house. I really like the way the furniture is placed around the fireplace, the centre of the house.

This is a picture of the actual house. I love it so much. It's just perfect. I can really see myself living here. So in my mind I visualize driving up the driveway, hering the pebbles when I walk on them. Even hearing the wind blow through the enormous tree. Wauw.

Just some more tile inspiration

These pictures I found on the net, on my workplace computer. I own my own shop, which I started with a co-partner (never do that, gives more problems than anything else) that's a whole new post. Lately I despise going there, I'm even thinking of quiting the whole g**damn thing because my passion lays completely somewhere else....... Back to the pictures, to kill the time I find nice things to look at and used to put these pictures on the computer in my shop. My partners husband does the administrative work and insisted we stopped putting pictures on the computer. Anyway found so many of these gorgeous tiles I'm just gonna post them without any story next to them, just for the fun of it. Enjoy. The first one is a rug b.t.w

Worldwide tiles

You can get inspiration from everything. Look at these Moorish tiles. don't they look stunning.
My crafty eye is detecting a quiltpattern somewhere. Would probably be a combination of applique and patchwork. Also those colours are wonderfull. Very nice how they make a pattern when they are put together. Beware I'm posting lots of them!!!
